Youtuber Lilly Singh aka Superwoman recently hosted her annual Diwali bash in LA and it was a star-studded affair. The high-octane party was attended by the who’s who of the celebrity clan. From actors to singers to rappers, everyone was dressed to the nines in vibrant outfits and high spirits for the exuberant night.
The super-host, Lilly Singh was seen decked up in a customized traditional outfit by the luxury designer brand, Falguni Shane Peacock. The award-winning comedian and author looked every inch regal in the three-piece peach-coloured creation as she hosted her celebrity guests.

Curated on a satin base, the elaborate outfit consisted of a pre-draped dhoti, waistcoat and a blazer adorned with silver chrome applique, sequins, Swarovski stones and crystals for a dazzling look. The outfit was replete with a tulle cape encrusted with crystals and feather detailing making her look like an actual Superwoman.
The singer-rapper paired her Diwali ensemble with layered diamond necklaces, diamond earrings, bracelets and rings to look like a million bucks. The bejewelled look was taken a step further with her hair tied up in a long braid adorned with crystals and crystal-encrusted boots to finish off her party-ready look.

The Diwali party, “Love & Light” was a hit amongst her friends and peers according to one of Lilly’s Instagram posts. She wrote, “After the party, so many people texted me saying “your family and friends are so warm and welcoming,” and that makes me really proud. I’ve been to one too many events in my life where I walked in and immediately felt awkward. I felt this pressure to put on an act and find acceptance. That’s the opposite of what I want this annual event to be. Whether this is your 30th Diwali, or your first, this party will always be about unity, warmth and inclusion. That good, good energy is mandatory. Grateful for these moments. This is love.”
The party witnessed some of the most influential A-listers as attendees including Mindy Kaling, Jay Sean, Terry Crews, Nora Fatehi, Jay Shetty, Tan France, Guru Randhawa, Victoria Justice, Ruby Rose and Poorna Jagannathan to name a few. The guests were seen dancing and swaying to the beats of popular songs while sipping on their favourite cocktails.

Born to immigrant parents, Lilly Saini Singh is a Canadian Youtuber, comedian, rapper and author. Lilly gained popularity as ‘Superwoman’ on the internet which was her YouTube channel’s name. The gifted comedian started her YouTube channel back in 2010 sharing comic and relatable content mostly including skits and rants. In 2016, she was third on Forbes’s highest-paid YouTubers list and continued to stay on the list for another consecutive year in 2017.
Lilly has since been on a world tour, received several awards and has produced and hosted a late-night talk show A Little Late with Lilly Singh.
